Great review! Did you celebrate the 100th anniversary this month? The fact that Joyce is still relevant 100 years on really says something about how little the world has changed... we're still fighting anti-Semitism, still fighting censorship, still weary (or weary again) about the rise of hyper-Nationalism, still wandering alone in cities filled with other people.
