I always get so sad when I see those 'comedic' videos going around with fathers who don't know anything about their children. Their grade, their middle names, the name of their school or teacher, even their allergies and birthdays -- they're completely clueless. It's an epidemic of apathy, especially among American fathers. In Europe, men are far more hands-on and don't expect kudos for 'babysitting' their children. I hate seeing married women who are essentially single mothers (also, likely parenting their partners). Obvious #notallmen, but enough, like you said, that there's a real problem culturally that we need to sort out...
