I don't know who David is, but I'm glad you loved CalArts. The point of my article wasn't to hate on Cal Arts Style -- only the people who use it as a buzzword to mean "child-friendly" or "Woke" (as negative descriptors) and perpetuate racism and sexism in animation. Cal Arts Style can be lovely! Unfortunately the term is nearly meaningless now, because it has become this dogwhistle.
