I see the quote you were trying to attach this comment to -- and of course some bisexuals are going to fit into those sorts of boxes, just like some straight people and some gay people will. It's when media tries to paint us all with the same brush that things become a stereotype. I would love to see more bi characters who aren't afraid to be "slutty" (whatever that means to them), but I'm always worried about writing a character like that because of how bi characters are expected to "represent" all bi people, you know? I wish we could have more flawed, messy bi characters, without them somehow "proving" something about the community as a whole and giving biphobes fuel for their pyres.
