I think it means we have to say "no," and have it written in our contracts that AI is not to be used for creative work. The Hollywood writer's strike happening right now includes that provision in their demands -- no AI "editing" writer's work, and no asking writers to "edit" AI-generated scripts. Making it clear that we won't stand for it, and really rallying together, might put a stop to it. Same with making it clear that publications / websites / contests don't accept AI-generated content.
