I wonder if it would be worth it to have a second Medium account just for editing your publications? Like make an anon account that never posts anything, and add it as an editor to your pubs so that you've got an extra 50 story buffer. I don't know if having two accounts violates Medium's rules in some way -- I wouldn't think so, since people write under different pen names all the time, but maybe worth looking into? Dumb that it might be necessary, but possibly a workaround.
