If there's still room on the docket, I'd be eager to write a piece about Bill Murray's snubs; an incredibly 40-year career with some real serious zingers (Groundhog Day, Ghostbusters, Caddyshack) managed to only get one Best Actor nomination, for Lost in Translation, and was beat out by Sean Penn of all people. A travesty! (I've not written for Fanfare before, longtime reader though!)
