I'm finding the opposite really -- that the new layout impedes people reading and finding stories. A lot of people have been talking about serious glitches with the new interface, like having blank recommendations or reccing the same things over and over, or ones you've already read. My internal views are down substantially over the last two weeks as they've been rolling it out, leading to less revenue... and it isn't a quality issue, since my ratio of fans to reads are still high, just not in overall numbers. It's maddening.

One thing that really bothers me is that there are no tags anymore, except the first. Only the first shows up (on your profile, for example) under the story, but it's like the other four tags don't exist. They're not on the bottom of the story anymore. I'm wondering if that's the issue -- that only one tag is being used to rec it to people, and secondary tags are not being counted. But I don't know for sure.

More customization options for text would be awesome. I hate when it looks different published than when you format it in the draft-- I had things the way I liked it, Medium! I didn't realize single-spacing was gone!! I'm pretty sure I used it before. Why do they keep taking features away from us??
