I'm not sure you've understood what happened. What cast? What invitation? One of the editors was the problem (ie, the person who began the project, not someone who was 'invited' to contribute) and the other editor ignored the problem, made excuses for them when it became visible, and victim-blamed/threw a pity-party. The whole anthology was created by these two people.
