I'm so sorry to hear that your report wasn't taken seriously. As someone who has worked with children, I consider myself a mandated reporter even when not currently teaching kids, and I'm very fortunate that I've never had to report something like that. I hate that it seems if you make yourself too 'indispensable' for a company, most seem willing to overlook obvious red flags and even reports (as in this case, Moderator X has been revealed to have been a key person involved in moving the message boards to their new platform, Discourse, and therefore was an important employee with access to tons of sensitive data).
