I normally don't use software like Grammarly because it so often finds meaningless "errors" (like wanting to correct "rain waters" to "rainwaters," when the verb in the sentence was clearly "waters") rather than actual mistakes. I don't think software will ever replace the job of human editors. If there was a typo or two that you corrected prior to submission, I do apologize: I pride myself on pre-editing my work and was perhaps a bit touchy.
Just as a heads up, normally editors for publications leave a private note on the story, rather than a public comment, for feedback like this. It can upset authors to have their work publicly criticized, rather than privately edited. Using private comments to note where changes have been made or need to be made might be a better route.
