It's not really about 'inspiring' some teen to emulate the behaviour portrayed, so much as it is about 'de-normalizing' virginity. There's so much pressure to have sex that it's seen as 'abnormal' for someone to be a 19-year-old virgin, which is ridiculous. It's going to worsen the anxiety that we already know causes boys to turn to incel forums and the like by making it seem 'weird' or shameful to graduate high school without being sexually active.
