I've not misinterpreted anything, but you seem to enjoy putting words in my mouth. You're the one appropriating anti-woman language ("not like other girls"), and your misuse of "unhappiness" when I wrote "happiness" is very telling.

You're allowed to choose not to have a wedding. That's the point. Being rude to me serves no purpose other than bullying. Not seeking validation -- just sharing something that made me happy with my followers, who all enjoy this article very much, as the number of comments and claps indicate.

Not that I have to justify my motivations to someone clearly being a bad actor, but if something big happens to me, I'm probably going to write about it, because that's my job. I'm a writer, I'm going to write about things that are important to me. If that bothers you, move along. You're free not to read stories that you don't like. :)
