November Wrap-Up: 30+ Stories in 30 Days

This November, rather than attempt Nanowrimo, I challenged myself to write 30 Medium stories in 30 days — here’s what I learned

It has been exactly four weeks since I hit 100 followers on Halloween, (surpassing my goal in just 16 days!) so I thought I’d write another summary of my time on Medium, for anyone interested. Rather than take on a 50k NaNoWriMo novel this year while also trying to finish my PhD thesis, I’ve chosen to be a #NanoRebel and write something else this year: 30 Medium stories in 30 days. Using the fantastic daily writing prompts by Ravyne Hawke of the Promptly Written publication, I managed to surpass that goal as well.

So how much did I actually write in November? The list of individual items is quite extensive, though a lot of my posts this month were short-form (which I don’t monetize as a general rule; monetized posts are marked with a star):
