Stories can be on multiple lists at the same time. When you add stories to a list with the ribbon button on the story itself, you'll get a dropdown menu of checkboxes for each of your lists. Simply check the list(s) you want it to be part of and uncheck the list(s) you don't want it on to "move" it.
