Thanks so much! I'm glad to hear you've had a positive experience going off the pill, even if it was a difficult journey. I hope to document how it goes for me in a Part 2 (or possibly more) as I figure out what this step means for me.

It's so weird to me that both starting and stopping hormonal birth control is kept so hush-hush, considering in how many countries the pill is handed out like candy! I know so many people put on the pill for different medical or social reasons. It's common these days for mothers to be encouraged to get their daughters on the pill ASAP to prevent teenage pregnancy, which I totally get, but there are serious risks and side effects (especially for 12 to 16-year-olds) that we just don't talk about and it drives me crazy!
