That should be a given! I do mention stocking up on your prefered method of birth control in the article, but I should think that most people are already mitigating their risk of pregnancy if they aren't trying to get pregnant.

However, it is important to note that all methods of birth control have a failure rate, even when used 100% correctly. Moreover, not everyone gets a choice; rape, intimate partner abuse, stealthing, sabotaged and/or faulty birth control, etc. can and will continue to create unwanted pregnancies, even with excellent sex education and access to contraceptive methods.
