There are a lot of ethical problems with using AI art generators, mostly because they were trained on artists' work who did not consent (and therefore are copying them and using their art without regard to copyright) and also using AI art takes away work from human artists. Using AI art generators "just for fun" is one thing, but using it to illustrate a book or make marketing materials is ethically dubious and I would never recommend it.
