Yeah I don't know why sometimes the link truncates and other times it has a wild long URL that includes the title and the publication. Also, if it's your story and you add /info after the /p/ and identifying number, you get taken to a separate page for comments so you don't have to work with the popup on the side of the story. It's sort of a "hidden link" I guess, I think the only way to access the page organically is when you get a notification for like 3+ people commenting on your story all at once, rather than taking you to the story and the sidebar popup it takes you to the /info page (which is separate from stats).
