Yikes! You'd think people taking psychology would be more open-minded... unfortunately the professions that could use the most kindness (nursing, psychology, medicine, policing) often attract bullies and bigots. I hope attitudes have changed significantly since then, but there is still a very vocal anti-choice minority that are drowning out reasonable voices.
